      Rachel Hoogstraten, Equity Council Lead

      Mohawk Trail Regional High School

“Working with Firefly has been invaluable as our rural, mostly white school has begun to tackle the difficult work of diversity, equity, and inclusion . . . The trainings that Firefly has done with our whole staff have given us common vocabulary and understandings to work from, and the coaching sessions with Cheyenne have helped us be confident in our work.”

        Natasha Trivers, CEO

        Democracy Prep Public Schools

“[They] have done an amazing job getting to know me as a leader, getting to know our organization (past, present, and future aspirations), and customizing our professional development to best meet our needs.”

“I felt like she really understood the challenges we faced and gave us tangible next steps in what often felt like an overwhelming situation.”

“[Cheyenne] has truly influenced my leadership during a critical time period. What I love most about her style is her ability to push me while remaining compassionate. She is deeply thoughtful and all of her work is intentional. She is as invested in our organization's mission as our leadership team.”

              Mohawk Trail Regional High School

“I couldn't be more encouraged by the impact this partnership has had on our school community thus far, and I'm confident that this work will lead to lasting growth and change. The strategic planning process has proved to be both ambitious in scope and pragmatic in execution. Cheyenne broke our work into pieces, helped us identify our leadership strengths, take responsibility for several connected projects, and created a system for us to hold ourselves accountable for fast-paced progress with the work.”

                Professional Learning Manager

                NYC Department of Education

“Our consultation was motivating and helped us feel like we can begin to try out suggestions for how to build trust in our office . . . Your experience in the field of equity helps provide practical solutions to challenging and thorny problems [and] narrow down our issues to areas where we felt "stuck" or unclear.”
